BRUH — Black Revolutionary Underground Heroes announced
The icons of Black history reborn as action heroes. Today we announce BRUH — a stylized, hard-hitting action-adventure built on legacy and liberation.
History is full of heroes who fought impossible odds and won ground for everyone who came after them. Today we are announcing a game that puts you in their shoes and hands you their fists. BRUH — Black Revolutionary Underground Heroes — is a stylized action-adventure about the icons of Black history reborn as a fighting force.
BRUH is loud, kinetic, and unapologetically stylish. Think chunky combos, screen-shaking finishers, and a hand-drawn comic-book energy that hits like a poster coming to life. But underneath the spectacle is real reverence. Each hero in the roster is a tribute — their signature abilities, their fighting style, and their story are all drawn from a life that actually changed the world.
You assemble the underground one hero at a time, learning each character's rhythm and unlocking abilities that reward mastery over mashing. Fights are built around momentum: chain your crew's moves together, pass a combo from one hero to the next, and turn a back-alley scrap into a statement. Co-op is core, because liberation was never a solo act.
We know the responsibility that comes with this material, and we are treating it with the seriousness it deserves. BRUH is being made in conversation with historians and cultural consultants, and every hero is handled with care rather than caricature. The goal is a game that celebrates, that teaches without lecturing, and that lets a new generation feel the weight of the shoulders they are standing on.
BRUH is early, and we are announcing it now because we want you along for the whole ride — the roster reveals, the art drops, the first time you land a perfect combo in a playtest. The world is coming together at bruh.game. Assemble the underground.
